About Rainy Refunds
We move the cost of a wet day off the people least able to carry it, with cover that settles on the forecast and pays out by itself.
What we do
Rainy Refunds is a Manchester company with two products, both built on the same idea: agree a rainfall trigger in advance, watch the Met Office forecast, and act automatically when it fires.
Rainy Refunds
Rain cover for a day out. A policy names the venue, the day, a time window and a rainfall threshold. On the morning of the day we read the Met Office forecast for that window, and if it meets the threshold the payout goes out automatically. No claim form, no photographs.
How the cover works →Rainy Rewards
A treat at a venue that switches on when rain is forecast. Venues set the reward and the rainfall trigger; on a wet morning the reward goes live and the people tracking it are told. Free for customers, and a reason to come in on a day they might have written off.
