1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Rainy Refunds services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Service
Rainy Refunds provides weather protection services for outdoor events. When you purchase weather protection, you are entitled to a refund if rainfall exceeds the specified threshold at your event location during the covered period.
3. Weather Data and Refund Determination
Rainfall measurements are provided by the MET Office. Refund eligibility is determined solely based on official weather data at the specified event location. Our decision regarding rainfall measurements is final.
4. Purchase and Payment
Weather protection must be purchased before the event date. Prices are displayed at checkout and include all applicable fees. Payments are processed securely through our payment provider (Stripe).
5. Refund Process
If rainfall exceeds the specified threshold, refunds are processed automatically within 5-7 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. You will receive email confirmation when your refund is processed.
6. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to purchase weather protection. Weather protection is only available for events at supported locations within the United Kingdom.
7. Limitations
Weather protection covers rainfall only. Other weather conditions (wind, temperature, etc.) are not covered unless specifically stated. Event cancellations by organizers are not covered by weather protection.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Rainy Refunds website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Rainy Refunds Limited and is protected by copyright laws.
9. Limitation of Liability
Rainy Refunds Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the weather protection product.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
